- Manage and ensure timely loan and return settlement across all markets, resolving settlement-related issues on a daily basis.
- Ensure appropriate collateral is agreed upon and exchanged with counter parties daily; calculate margin requirements to ensure compliance with internal policies and client guidelines.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting to auditors, management, and clients.
- Review sufficiency management and take appropriate actions to mitigate securities lending risks to client investment portfolios.
- Follow established procedures and execute required controls, including cash, security, and collateral reconciliations, while exercising sound judgment and adhering to escalation protocols.
- Coordinate and manage relationships with internal teams and external service providers to ensure successful delivery of contracted services.
- Proactively identify issues, resolve problems, and develop service level standards and agreements aligned with evolving business needs.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with Securities Lending, trading desks, product management, technology teams, custodians, and counter parties.
- Develop expertise in local market practices through hands‑on experience, training, and independent research to ensure best‑in‑class service.
- Support the ongoing enhancement of the securities lending technology platform and global process model.
- Participate in business initiatives related to product development, system enhancements, and process redesign.
- Contribute to industry initiatives and associations to support market evolution and best practices.
- Strong understanding of financial markets and related instruments.
- Working knowledge of securities lending operations.
- Solid regulatory knowledge with strong risk awareness; familiarity with APAC market regimes is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical, problem‑solving, and research skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong overall PC skills.
- SQL and/or Python programming knowledge is a plus, particularly for workflow automation and process efficiency.
- Adaptable and effective communication skills.
- Experience with investment management platforms and workflows (e.g., Dashboard, Trade Entry, Security Master, CAM) is desirable.
