The Finance Director is responsible for overseeing Bright Bloom’s accounting, fiscal controls, and financial reporting functions. This leader ensures the integrity of all financial data, implements strong internal controls, and partners with the CEO and leadership team to support effective decision‑making.

This role is both strategic and hands‑on
, ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a growing, fast‑paced healthcare organization and can build systems while maintaining day‑to‑day precision.

  • Oversee all accounting operations, including AP/AR, payroll reconciliation, general ledger, and monthly closes.
  • Maintain and continuously improve internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, federal and state regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and document accounting policies and procedures.
  • Work with the book‑keeping vendor to prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Provide clear, actionable reporting to the CEO and leadership team, including variance analysis and trend insights.
  • Manage year‑end audit or financial review processes; coordinate with external auditors.
  • Prepare financial documentation for grants, RFPs, and contractual partnerships.
Budgeting & Cash Flow Management
  • Manage cash flow forecasting and monitoring to ensure fiscal stability.
  • Support the CEO in preparing annual budgets and multi‑year financial projections.
  • Monitor budget‑to‑actual results and advise on adjustments and cost controls.
Revenue Cycle Support
  • Collaborate with billing, credentialing, and operations teams to ensure proper revenue capture and reconciliation.
  • Identify and address discrepancies in payer reimbursements or claims submissions.
  • Manage the relationship with booking and accounting vendors.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO, contributing financial insights to organizational planning.
  • Work cross‑functionally with HR, Operations, and Clinical leadership to ensure integrated financial processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 5+ years' of experience in finance or accounting
  • CPA or CMA preferred
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
