Job Description
Join our Card and Connected Commerce Chief Administrative Office team and provide support in optimizing planned spend, acting as a trusted advisor, and being responsible for identifying, escalating, and mitigating financial risks. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to numerous teams and stakeholders across the firm.
As a Finance & Business Management Associate in the Card and Connected Commerce Chief Administrative Office team, you will provide financial and strategic analysis, oversee budgeting and forecasting, provide financial control, analyse financial/business metrics, deliver regular management reporting and develop new reporting capabilities.
Job responsibilities- Manage headcount tracking and budgeting process with full knowledge of open positions, pending hires, and future plans for the Card & Commerce Business Office organization.
- Create and maintain financial budgeting, reporting, forecasting and analysis by each team within the Card & Commerce Business Office organization.
- Partner with the Card & Commerce Business Office Advocacy group and provide budgeting and forecasting support, which aligns to the initiatives within their discretionary budget. This includes invoice processing and contract support.
- Provide efficiency reporting, analytics and strategy including, but not limited to location strategy, span of control, reporting and analytics.
- Develop and track performance metrics, create presentations, and generally provide financial analysis on a variety of topics to senior management.
- Provide oversight and deliver month‑end results, the forecast for the remainder of the year, and the budget for future years.
- Help design new reports and dashboards to efficiently deliver the financial results to senior management.
- Enhance controls and streamline processes, introducing automation where possible.
- Provide a high level of responsiveness to executive ad‑hoc requests related to project management, presentation development, and business analysis.
- Participate in collaborative initiatives with team members and global managers, coordinate team activities and prepare materials for town halls, employee recognition, and strategy working sessions.
- Communicate effectively with key business partners to understand projects and foster next steps.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related area.
- At least 4 years of work experience in Finance, Planning & Analysis, Business Management, Accounting/Controllership, Technology or Product.
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to build decks, present data and tell a story.
- Inquisitive, enthusiastic and diligent, and capable of challenging peers.
