Finance Analyst – Manufacturing (Wilmington, DE)

We are looking for a Finance Analyst to join our manufacturing team in Wilmington, DE.

• Work closely with site leadership to support cost analysis, uncover inefficiencies and identify adjustments necessary to achieve targets.
• Key Finance point of contact for plant operations leadership team.
• Lead the monthly forecast setting process and annual plan for assigned plant site.
• Ensure that plan, forecasting vs. actuals analysis and root cause corrective actions are completed at appropriate levels.
• Conduct monthly site and product line cost reviews, highlighting performance and deviations from forecast or plan.
• Evaluate finance processes, identify and implement improvement ideas to increase automation or improve quality of reporting/data.
• Provide recommendations for cost saving opportunities and finance support for continuous improvement efforts at the site.
• Work closely with off-site financial resources to explain variances and trends.
• Main financial areas of responsibility include and are not limited to:
  Plant Fixed Costs, PMMA/TAR accounting, Variable Cost of Manufacture, Manufacturing Period Expense & Inventory analysis.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related area of study.
• 1+ years of professional work experience.

• English language skills.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ability to handle large amounts of data.
• Working knowledge of the remaining Microsoft Office Suite.

• 3+ years of professional work experience.
• Proficiency in SAP (including SAP Business Warehouse).
• Previous experience in a multi-national manufacturing company with a focus on Manufacturing Cost Accounting and/or Financial Analysis.
• General understanding of manufacturing analysis and inventory accounting.

Annual Bonus Target: 6%
