Loan Closing Analyst

The role is responsible for managing a portfolio of Par LSTA loan trades from trade date through settlement, ensuring accurate execution and effective client service throughout the lifecycle. It supports Wholesale Lending through daily processing activities, including trade review, reporting, reconciliation, and issue resolution.

The position also involves ad hoc reporting as required to maintain data accuracy and operational efficiency.

• Relevant background in finance, economics, or a related discipline
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook
• Experience supporting or processing LSTA Par or Distressed loan trades
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Support with day-to-day Wholesale Lending initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution through lending technical expertise.
• Monitor the bank’s lending operations to ensure that they are conducted in an efficient and effective manner and comply with relevant regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with teams across the bank to align and integrate Wholesale Lending processes.
• Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for change in Wholesale Lending processes.
• Develop and implement Wholesale Lending procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
• Develop reports and presentations on Wholesale Lending performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
• Identify industry trends and developments to implement best practice in Wholesale Lending Services.
• Participate in projects and initiatives to improve Wholesale Lending efficiency and effectiveness.
