Position Summary
Chemours seeks a Manufacturing Finance Manager to support the Advanced Performance Materials (APM) business located at our Wilmington, DE headquarters. The role reports to the Business Finance Director and involves leading a team of analysts in financial operations across manufacturing, operations, supply chain, and finance teams.
Responsibilities- Partner with APM business teams to provide finance support for key activities, namely end‑to‑end cost of goods sold (COGS) forecasting.
- Support the tracking and reporting of Plant Fixed Site (PFC) for each APM manufacturing site.
- Evaluate plant performance and the purchases of key raw and third‑party materials as they relate to variable cost of manufacturing (VCOM).
- Support and drive analyses of business capital expenditures and net working capital decisions.
- Gain an overall understanding of key business drivers and trends to aid the APM finance teams on earnings and cash optimization and key strategic initiatives.
- Drive cross‑functional forecast integration across Operations, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Finance, including oversight of the Site Financial Analysts; work with various reporting systems and tools, such as Excel, Power BI, Alteryx, SAP/BW, and One Stream, to analyze financial performance and drive process automation and digitization.
- Degree in finance, business, economics, or engineering and/or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial/analytical tools.
- Self‑motivated, resourceful, and able to work in a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal communication (oral and written) skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability and learning business and company processes, focusing on continuous improvement.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
- Potential to be viewed as a financial leader, adept at providing financial leadership and guidance across multiple teams.
Pay Range (in local currency): $ - $. Chemours Level: 27. Annual Bonus Target: 14%.
