Job Overview
The Securities Services Operations Associate is part of the Trust & Custody Operations team that supports the Corporate Trust and Institutional Custody divisions. The associate interacts with UMB clients and internal partners to evaluate and process requests such as cash processing, trade execution, new security establishment, or dividend income application. The role requires a robust understanding of UMB and financial knowledge, and provides trading support for custody and trust customers.
The associate is a subject matter expert in operational processes for clients and internal partners, ensuring accurate processing and maintaining a fast‑paced environment with unpredictable scenarios.
Responsibilities- Use problem‑solving skills to determine appropriate actions when processing client requests.
- Exercise strong communication skills to create a positive client experience.
- Maintain strong attention to detail to ensure correct processing.
- 2 years of financial services experience, or an Associate’s Degree.
- A bachelor’s degree.
$38,916 - $57,244 (starting pay, may vary by location, experience, and other factors).
