Job SummaryThe Lead Analyst is a key member of the Financial Planning & Analysis team tasked with providing financial reporting activities for mechanical operations within an assigned territory. Responsibilities include serving as an experienced financial advisor, providing strategic analysis, forecasting, and business insights for complex functions, portfolios, or enterprise initiatives; as well as leading advanced modeling and planning activities, influencing decision‑making, and driving continuous improvement in financial processes and governance.
This position can be located in Washington, DC;
Wilmington, DE; or Philadelphia, PA.
- Provides financial support for assigned portfolios or initiatives by developing planning assumptions, monitoring performance, and informing resource allocation decisions.
- Leads budgeting, forecasting, and periodic financial planning activities, including development of financial models, scenario analyses, and variance explanations.
- Prepares and delivers recurring financial and operational reporting, including monthly operating and capital results, variance analyses, and performance metrics to support management review.
- Analyzes financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities; investigates drivers of performance and recommends corrective actions.
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders and external parties to support audits, inquiries, and governance requirements, ensuring data accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to financial controls and standard.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or relevant experience.
- Plus 6 years of relevant work experience.

- Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, including interpretation of financial and operational data, development of insights, and application of analytical techniques to support business decisions.
