Summary Statement
The incumbent in this class monitors subgrant programs for compliance with State and Federal regulations and provides staff support to the subcommittees of the Delaware Criminal Justice Council.

- Assists Council in identifying problems with Criminal Justice agencies and develops methods of resolving same.
- Monitors agency subgrant programs for compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Develops and drafts operating policies and procedures for proposed programs.
- Trains and orients user agency staff in the policies, procedures and usage of programs.
- Staffs committees and task forces involved in the research and/or investigation of issues involving Criminal Justice agencies.
Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:
- Knowledge of criminal justice research which includes systematic study to discover and establish facts.
- Knowledge of interacting with criminal justice organizations such as law enforcement, courts, corrections, parole boards, community groups, or local governments.
- Knowledge of program evaluation which includes evaluating programs and services to identify problems, determine compliance and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency to ensure program goals and overall objectives are met.
- Knowledge of recommending alternatives, improvements, courses of action and other changes based on findings.
- Knowledge of developing policies or procedures.
