Lead Sterile Processing Technician - St. Francis Hospital

Overview

St. Francis Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for a Lead Sterile Processing Tech to join our Central Sterile Processing team.

Employment Type: Full time

Shift: 1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week, rotating shift

• Perform and coordinate the cleaning, preparation, and sterilization of all specialty and surgical instrument trays.
• Take a lead role in education and training of new staff.
• Conduct monthly load counts.
• Work closely with the manager and oversee daily operations in the absence of the manager.

• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or equivalent

• High school diploma or equivalent; at least three years of experience in sterilization, biological testing, or operating room technician work; must read and write English and be able to communicate effectively in English (spoken and written).
