Day/Night Shift - 7:00am-7:00pm/7:00pm - 7:00am positions available, requires working every other weekend, rotating holiday schedule.

Full-time, 72 hours per pay period

Starting hourly rate of $17.00 per hour

Job Description Summary

Personal Care Aides (PCAs) provide compassionate, hands‑on care to ensure residents' health and well‑being.

Essential functions
  • Assist residents with daily living activities (e.g., grooming, dressing, bathing)
  • Monitor and maintain residents' personal hygiene and supplies
  • Perform regular rounds and respond to residents' needs
  • Support residents during meals and encourage participation in activities
  • Maintain cleanliness of residents' living spaces and do laundry
  • Assist with mobility, including transfers and transportation
  • Provide basic health‑related assistance (e.g., bowel/bladder management, prosthetic devices)
  • Communicate effectively with residents and staff
  • Maintain accurate records and follow care plans
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications Experience
  • Six months to one‑year related experience or training. Specific experience with older adults or in the retirement housing industry preferred.
Education

High School Diploma or GED
