Responsibilities
- Provide on‑call/first responder services as scheduled at local office.
- Plan and facilitate consumer transitions to other services and/or local agencies efficiently.
- Maintain regular contact with the persons served, their treatment teams, guardians, and significant others.
- Assure consistent provision of quality services.
- Assess persons’ needs and provide linkages/referrals to resources that help achieve personal goals.
- Represent RHA at local management entity and other necessary meetings related to care.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Master’s Degree in a related field with one year of supervised, post‑graduate experience serving persons with mental health or substance abuse.
- or Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Service field with two years of supervised, post‑graduate experience serving persons with mental health or substance abuse.
- or Bachelor’s Degree in another field with four years of supervised, post‑graduate experience serving persons with mental health or substance abuse.
- Must have knowledge and experience with the age and population served.
- Fluent in sign language, meeting an Advanced Plus or better score on a Sign Language Proficiency Interview (SLPI).
- Criminal background check (name checked in registries such as OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities).
- Drug testing.
- Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements.
- Proof of employment history or references (if required).
- For positions that require driving: proof of driver’s license, driver’s insurance, and vehicle, if required for providing transportation for individuals.
