Required Shift Availability: Center is currently open Tuesday - Saturday 7AM - 1PM

Upcoming Expansion (Late 2024 / Early 2025): This is an estimate and hours and shifts may vary slightly.

• Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Two 8-hour shifts:
• Morning: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Evening: 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM

Responsibilities

• You'llbecrosstrainedinmultipleareasofthecenter,contributingtothedonorexperiencefromstarttofinish.
• Conductdonoreligibilityscreeningsincludingphysicalexams,medicalhistoryreviews,vital signs,andlabtestingtoensuredonorsuitability.
• Respond to donor reactions and manage follow-up, including counseling for deferrals, handling Post Donation Information (PDI), and coordinating with medical leadership as needed.
• Maintainaccuratemedicalrecordsandactivelicensure,ensuringallassessmentsmeetregulatory,company,andsafetystandards.
• Completecross-functionaltrainingindonorregistration,screening,collection,andprocessingwithin
  90–120daystosupportcenteroperations.
• Demonstratereliabilityandprofessionalismthroughconsistentattendance,punctuality,andadherencetocenterschedules.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards while maintaining confidentiality, data accuracy, and integrity in the electronic donor management system.
• Staycurrentwithallpoliciesandprocedures,adaptingtoupdatesasneeded.

We’re committed to growing our team from within. Our Licensed Medical Specialist role includes a structured, three-tiered advancement path for PMDs, and EMTs:

• LevelI: Entry-level role under supervision with certification in donor eligibility assessments, medical screening, plasma/blood collection, and plasma processing procedures.
• LevelII:Fullycertifiedinregistration,screening,collections,and processing.
  
  Achievablewithin5months.

Progression is based on certification, competency, and performance—not tenure. Level III team members often serve as shift leads and are strong candidates for future leadership roles such as Medical Operations Supervisor, Quality Assurance Manager, or Center Manager.

Qualifications

• Current and activeEMT/Paramedic license (state-specific) ***(National Registry not qualified w/o state license)
• ActiveCPRcertification
• Abilitytowork Tuesday through Saturday schedule
• Desiretogrowwithinamission-driven organization

Physical Requirements

• Use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
• Frequent leaning, bending, stooping, crouching, and reaching above the shoulders and below the knee
• Manual dexterity to perform all phases of donor plasmapheresis
• Ability to make and analyze a physical assessment of heart, lung sounds, signs of drug use, etc.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time for up to four (4) hours at a time
• Ability to lift, tug, pull up to fifty (50) pounds
