Registered Behavior Technician in Wilmington, DE

Take your expertise as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to the next level in a dynamic elementary school-based autism program. This contract opportunity near Wilmington, DE, will have you working directly with elementary-aged students, providing vital behavioral support and fostering positive classroom environments.

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification
• Active Delaware PARA Permit (both certifications are required)
• Previous experience in school settings, especially supporting elementary students
• Skilled in implementing physical intervention strategies when needed
• Confident in collecting and documenting behavioral and instructional data within a classroom
• Comfortable with all aspects of personal care, including toileting, diapering, and hygiene support
• Flexible team player, with readiness to adapt to changing classroom assignments
• Reliable transportation to ensure daily punctual attendance
• Commitment to working the full assigned hours on sitelate arrivals, early departures, or part-time schedules cannot be accommodated

• Deliver direct behavior support to students as part of an autism program
• Collect and report accurate behavioral and instructional data
• Assist educators and therapists as needed to promote student engagement
• Support students with self-care tasks (toileting, diapering, hygiene) as a consistent responsibility
• Collaborate and communicate with school staff for the best outcomes
• Adhere to established schedules8:45 AM to 4:15 PM, Monday through Friday

• Full-time, consistent work schedule (37.5 hours per week)
