Our Wilmington locations provide comprehensive care for patients of all ages, offering services including preventive and primary care, women's health, behavioral health, sports medicine, osteopathic manipulative medicine, LGBTQ+ comprehensive care, substance use disorder treatment, minor procedures, and more.

The Medical Office Assistant I schedules appointments with attention to insurance, greets patients while collecting necessary information, and processes referrals while maintaining confidentiality.

Work Schedule:

• Monday through Friday: 8:30am to 5pm

Duties / Responsibilities:

The Medical Office Assistant I handles payments, verifies insurance coverage, coordinates referrals, and reconciles daily appointments and payments. They manage communications by answering calls, relaying messages, and using EMR systems to coordinate with providers and staff. The role includes updating patients, scheduling tests and appointments, maintaining medical records, resolving patient issues, supporting administrative tasks, and following safety protocols, with additional duties as needed.

Position

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Experience in a medical office setting is preferred but not required.
