The APP trainee functions as a learner in the cardiac ICU and step-down unit, collaborating in an interdisciplinary team and developing competencies in acute pediatric care.
Mentored clinical practice experiences will occur in the acute care setting, with a six-month progression from learner to credentialed team member.
