Overview

You will be at the center of the hotel’s universe – the front office. We need someone to be the face of our front desk. Are you happy, outgoing, and wearing a permanent smile? Do you want to create a warm and welcoming environment for our guests by sharing your knowledge of the area? Then this could be the job for you.

In addition to generally spreading joy, you’ll ensure all guests receive excellent service from check‑in to check‑out.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate clearly and demonstrate a high level of professionalism in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and handle challenges with composure.
  • Maintain knowledge of local restaurants, entertainment, and sporting events and share this information with guests.
  • Handle cash responsibly and reliably.
  • Use computers, databases, and property management systems to manage reservations and guest inquiries.
  • Stand or sit for most of the shift, carrying or lifting up to 50 pounds; walk, bend, twist, and climb stairs regularly.
  • Work a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent; preferably 3‑6 months of related experience.
  • People‑person with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and fulfill requests in a timely manner.
  • Physical ability to stand/sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Flexibility to accommodate a varying schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
