AI/ML is a strategic component to enabling secure and frictionless authentication for the millions of Chase customers who access services across channels. This role works at the intersection of data scientists, business, and technology and will focus on understanding the user journey of authentication, identifying opportunities of customer interaction data, and developing strategy of AI/ML solution development and deployment.

Job Summary

As a Senior Product Associate in Trust & Security Authentication Platforms and Modeling, you will contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success.

Job Responsibilities
  • Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery.
  • Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience.
  • Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers.
  • Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle.
  • Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development.
  • Collaborate with other product teams across Identity and Authentication to ensure AI/ML models are incorporating the latest signals and data.
  • Explores and evaluates advanced modeling techniques, such as transformers and graph neural networks, to enhance authentication and identity solutions.
  • Works closely with data science and engineering teams to design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models that address complex business challenges.
  • Monitors model performance and collaborates on continuous improvement initiatives, including model retraining and feature engineering.
  • Ensures compliance with data privacy, security, and ethical standards throughout the model development lifecycle.
  • Communicates technical concepts and model outcomes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making.
  • Stays current with industry trends and emerging technologies in AI/ML, proactively identifying opportunities to innovate and improve product offerings.
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area.
  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle.
  • Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition.
  • Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy.
  • Ability to learn quickly, manage work independently, and be a team player.
  • Ability to engage with developers & stakeholder including consumers, project management, upstream & peer groups.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in AI/ML model development and deployment.
  • Experience with advanced machine learning architectures, such as transformers and graph neural networks.
  • Experience working with large-scale, real-time data pipelines and streaming data.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Knowledge of AWS/public-cloud and Databricks.
