AI Delivery PM & Scrum Master

Job Description

Our technical manufacturing client is looking for a Technical Project Manager / Scrum Master to lead end-to-end delivery of AI, ML, and GenAI initiatives. This individual will be responsible for driving Agile execution, including sprint ceremonies, team velocity improvement, and establishing best practices in low-maturity environments. They will design and implement Jira workflows from the ground up, tailoring boards and reporting to support AI delivery.

The role requires close collaboration with data scientists, ML engineers, developers, and business stakeholders to define scope, milestones, and success metrics. This person will oversee AI model lifecycle activities, including development, deployment, monitoring, and retraining coordination. Strong communication with senior leadership is essential, ensuring alignment between technical execution and measurable business outcomes. This person will be working on multiple projects at one time.

This is a 7-month contract to hire opportunity, and we are looking for someone to go onsite 4 days a week in Wilmington, DE. The pay range is around $65-$70/hr.

• 10+ years of Technical Project Management / Scrum Master experience
• At least 2 years supporting AI, ML, or GenAI initiatives
• Hands-on experience building Jira environments (boards, workflows, reporting) from scratch
• Strong understanding of full AI/ML lifecycle (data, training, deployment, monitoring)
• Proven ability managing cross-functional teams (engineering + business stakeholders)
• Background working with enterprise systems (ERP, LIMS, APIs, cloud platforms)
• Experience working at a large company with complex projects
