Position Overview

Business Analytics Lead within PNC's Data, Modeling & Analytics Marketing & Customer Analytics organization, based in Pittsburgh, PA, Tysons Corner, VA, Vienna, VA, or Wilmington, DE.

The Business Analytics Lead on PNC's Customer Interaction Management Strategy & Analytics team will provide senior analytical leadership to optimize the bank's centralized marketing decisioning engine and drive customer and business outcomes. The role focuses on improving the quality, performance, and stability of self‑learning models by developing analyses and business cases while partnering closely with data science teams and key business stakeholders.

The Lead will shape and govern decision inputs, including algorithm refinement, value frameworks, propensity models, constraints, and business rules, while incorporating enterprise and channel context and ensuring regulatory compliance.

• 5+ years of progressive experience in marketing, customer, or decision analytics (preferably in financial services), with demonstrated career growth, strong results orientation, and increasing ownership of complex analytical problems. Pegasystems CDH experience is advantageous.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, effective cross‑functional collaboration, and ability to translate model‑driven decisions into clear business and customer impact.
• Experience in coding languages Python and SQL, strong understanding of modeling and model development.

• Leads the analytics processes across multiple functions or business units leveraging an array of complex analytical tools to create data‑driven solutions. Serves as mentor to more junior employees.
• Consults with clients and mentors consultants on tool and strategy implementation and monitoring, statistical scoring, business intelligence, data quality, and analytical product/solution development.
• Determines the optimal analytic approach and supports development, implementation, and enhancements.
• Assists peers with guidance on analytic approaches related to more complex solutions.
• Conceptualizes, develops, and continuously optimizes analytical solutions for business leadership to enable data‑driven decision‑making.
• Analyzes results and makes recommendations for key business partners and senior management or communicates conclusions from complex analytical solutions to a wide range of audiences.
