Position Details:

- Location: Hybrid in Wilmington, DE 19801 (must be local, 4 days/week onsite, no exceptions)
- Work Hours: Extended hours 9-5:30 with flexibility
Overview:
Our client, a Delaware-based law firm, is seeking a Systems Administrator to join their growing team! This is a direct hire opportunity. The role requires being local to Wilmington, DE for hybrid work. Sponsorship is not available at this time.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee server maintenance and operations, ensuring system health and performance.
- Maintain and implement firm systems, including servers and infrastructure, ensuring seamless functionality.
- Manage account access and group policies, with experience in Active Directory required.
- Monitor and test backup and restore processes for data integrity.
- Test and improve disaster recovery procedures, including failover tests.
- Ensure system uptime, availability, and reliability.
- Perform system monitoring, configuration, and deployment following best practices.
- Maintain ISO
27001 certification in collaboration with the IS department. - Coordinate with third-party vendors for projects and support.
- Assist in policy and procedure development.
- Maintain current network documentation.
- Monitor logs, alerts, and system events daily.
- Troubleshoot remote connectivity issues for users.
Qualifications:
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze issues quickly.
- Bachelor’s degree in technology, computer science, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum three years of experience in systems administration; ongoing certification is preferred.
- Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience with VMware, Cisco infrastructure, Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, and Active Directory is preferred.
- Attention to detail and documentation skills.
