Windows Application Support Engineer; Onsite-Wilmington, DE

Inte Pros is seeking an experienced Windows Application Support Engineer to join a leading financial technology organization supporting mission‑critical enterprise applications. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting complex production environments, improving operational efficiency through automation, and collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to maintain highly available systems.

You’ll play a key role in supporting enterprise applications running in Windows‑based environments while leveraging Power Shell, SQL, AWS, and scripting technologies to enhance system reliability, performance, and operational excellence.

• Support and troubleshoot enterprise applications running in Windows Server production environments.
• Partner with Development, Infrastructure, and Operations teams to ensure the stability, availability, and performance of critical applications.
• Diagnose and resolve application, server, database, and infrastructure issues in a large‑scale enterprise environment.
• Develop and maintain automation solutions using Power Shell, Python, or other scripting languages to streamline operational processes.
• Monitor application health, Windows services, and system performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact users.
• Troubleshoot SQL‑related application and database issues.
• Support cloud‑hosted applications and infrastructure within AWS environments.
• Provide occasional support for Linux‑based systems while primarily focusing on Windows technologies.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to process improvements and operational best practices.

• 5–10 years of experience in Application Support, Systems Engineering, or Infrastructure Support.
• Strong hands‑on experience supporting Windows Server environments in enterprise production settings.
• Solid understanding of Windows administration, services, event logs, performance monitoring, and system troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with Power Shell for automation and systems administration.
• Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
• Strong SQL skills for troubleshooting, querying, and data analysis.
• Experience supporting large‑scale, mission‑critical enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services and cloud‑based application support.
• Working knowledge of Linux operating systems is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile and Dev Ops environments.
• Exposure to AI tools or automation technologies is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
