- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable infrastructure and services
- Define and enforce SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs for critical systems
- Lead incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and postmortems
- Build and improve observability systems (monitoring, logging, tracing)
- Automate repetitive operational tasks and reduce manual toil
- Optimize system performance, cost, and scalability
- Collaborate with development teams to improve system reliability and deployment processes
- Drive reliability best practices across the engineering organization
- Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines and release engineering processes
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery strategies are in place and tested
Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Dev Ops, or Infrastructure Engineering
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java)
- Deep understanding of Linux/Unix systems and networking fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Cloud Formation, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, etc.)
- Solid understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture
