My client has a 12-15 month contract opening for an Endpoint Engineer. This is a hybrid role and is on site2/3 days per week.
The Microsoft 365 / Teams & Endpoint Engineer will be responsible for leading an enterprise migration from Slack to Microsoft Teams while supporting and enhancing the organization's broader Microsoft 365 and endpoint environment.
The engineer will assess existing Slack workflows, applications, bots, webhooks, and custom integrations and determine the appropriate replacement solutions within Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365. This individual will independently gather requirements, develop custom integrations and automations, perform testing and validation, troubleshoot issues, and support the migration through production.
Qualified candidates should have 5+ years of Microsoft 365/Teams engineering experience with strong hands-on knowledge of Teams administration, Power Automate, Microsoft Graph API, Power Shell, Entra , REST APIs, webhooks, and application integrations. Direct Slack-to-Teams migration experience is strongly preferred.
The engineer will also support endpoint technologies across Windows and macOS environments, including Microsoft Intune and Jamf. Responsibilities may include software deployment, patch management, compliance and security policies, endpoint automation, configuration management, troubleshooting, and collaboration with Information Security.
Experience with Power Shell, Bash, SQL, JQL, AWS Work Spaces, endpoint security, and automation is beneficial. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on engineer with strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills who can independently drive technical projects from requirements through production.
