Legal Assistant

Description We are looking for a dedicated Legal Assistant to join our team in Wilmington, Delaware. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with three days onsite and two days remote, providing a flexible and dynamic work environment. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting legal operations through meticulous document handling, organizational excellence, and collaborative teamwork.

Responsibilities:

- Revise and format legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.

- Conduct thorough proofreading of documents to correct grammatical, spelling, and formatting errors.

- File pleadings with both State and Federal Courts, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.

- Manage calendars to track key deadlines, appointments, and court dates.

- Coordinate logistical arrangements for depositions, trial teams, and meetings, ensuring smooth operations. Requirements

- Demonstrate strong proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail and grammatical accuracy.

- Adapt to a fast-paced environment while balancing competing priorities effectively.

- Collaborate efficiently with team members to achieve shared goals.

- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Maintain strict confidentiality of client and firm information at all times.

- Display proactive teamwork and anticipate work needs.

- Function well under occasional high-pressure situations and tight deadlines.

- Possess a solid understanding of Microsoft Office applications and e-filing processes.
