Position Overview

A leading national law firm is seeking an experienced Transactional Healthcare Attorney to join its healthcare practice across multiple U.S. offices. This role involves advising healthcare providers, investors, and life sciences organizations on complex transactional matters that intersect with federal and state healthcare regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on healthcare-focused transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, affiliations, and strategic partnerships
  • Provide regulatory guidance related to healthcare transactions, including compliance with Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA, and related federal and state regulations
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex transaction documents and healthcare-specific agreements
  • Conduct regulatory due diligence in connection with acquisitions and financings
  • Counsel healthcare clients on operational and compliance considerations arising from transactions
  • Collaborate with corporate, tax, and regulatory teams across offices
  • Support client development and contribute to the growth of the healthcare practice
Qualifications
  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • 6+ years of experience in healthcare transactional and regulatory matters at a large or well-regarded law firm.
  • Strong experience advising on healthcare M&A and other corporate transactions.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare regulatory regimes impacting transactions.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage complex matters independently while working collaboratively across teams
