Chemours is seeking an Americas Iso Fleet Coordinator to join our growing Supply Chain team! This position will report directly to Jaime Matassino, Thermal & Specialized Solutions Americas Supply Chain Manager at our Wilmington, Delaware location.
Thermal & Specialized Solutions is a strong, global business which is supported by an extensive Supply Chain and complex network of logistics and data resources. This role is expected to serve as a change leader, to measure, test, and implement Supply Chain Data, Inventory and Logistics best practices for improved productivity. This role will report to the TSS Americas Supply Chain Manager and work directly with global and regional roles including Logistics Specialists, Supply Chain Leaders & Managers, Order Fulfillment Leaders, Continuous Improvement Leaders, Regional Planners, IT, and Sourcing & Logistics.
This position manages logistics assets and processes/data to support targets consistent with business strategies, goals, customer service levels, inventory level, and capacity requirements and is accountable to develop feasible 3 to 24 month integrated logistics plans in support of the Supply Chain master plan. The role provides direction to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient distribution of hazardous materials and products in a way that meets the needs of the business and maximizes the financial benefit to the business and parent company.
This position provides functional logistics guidance for people in the Supply Chain, Logistics Ops Center, business, at plant sites and in other regions who are working in the logistics competency.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Leads development and execution of logistics plans and strategies in alignment with the business supply chain strategies to provide a logistics competitive advantage.
Accountable for determining gaps to plan and developing/executing improvement plans to meet Supply Chain needs.
Monitors the activities of contract logistics functions (e.g. ISO cleaning & DOT testing) for the business to assure needs are being met.
Accountable to manage the ISO transportation equipment fleet (asset management)
Coordinates the evaluation, recommendation, and management of bulk transportation solutions for new business opportunities as needed.
Accountable for the timeliness and accuracy of Global/Regional Supply Chain data to allow for an efficient monthly SOP process cycle.
Collaborate with the Global Logistics Ops Center/CoE and provide business direction to 3PL Logistics Coordinators.
Provide functional logistics, data & inventory guidance for resources in the Supply Chain, business, at plant sites and in other regions who are working in these competencies.
Collaborates with order fulfillment and other regional logistics resources to optimize end-to-end logistics, data & inventory management and integrate best practices.
Monitor and report on logistics compliance, quality, cost, and performance metrics defined by the Supply Chain.
The following is required for this role:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or equivalent experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to details
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills in a cross functional setting
Solid technical skills in PowerPoint and BW, with advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and formulas
The following is preferred for this role:2+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Analytical or Technical role Proficiency with SAP, or a similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
Basic knowledge of appropriate financial, legal, commercial and logistical guidelines/procedures within Chemours and business unit specific
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
