What we need
Symbotic isseekingan experienced and strategic Manager,Supply Planning to lead

Bot forecasting andbot spares/repairmaterial availability.

This role is critical in ensuring seamless operations by ensuring new Bot production capabilities meet customercommitmentsand existing fleets have the parts needed to run at their highest potential.

The successful candidate willpossessexceptional communication and leadership skills to collaborate effectively with executive-level stakeholders and deliver results in a dynamic, high-stakes environment.

This role will provide direct leadership for our repair center Material Planners.

What we do

The Production Control team manages project-based planning and material execution for complex, customer-specific automation systems. This group oversees material coordination, supply execution, andlogisticsalignment to ensure materials and equipment are available when and where needed to support installation and commissioning. Production Control works closely with other Supply Chain teams, including Sourcing, Procurement, and Supplier partners, to align demand, supply, and execution across large-scale customer projects.

Whatyou’lldo

• Develop long-term bot forecasts and partner with operations partners to ensure production capacity is aligned for future growth.

• Lead a team of Repair Center Material Plannersto ensure material availability at our repair centers.

• Monitor and managebotpartinventory levels to prevent shortages and excesses, ensuring alignment with operational and customer requirements.
  
  This role will develop safety stock strategies targeted at keeping customer bot fleets operational.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including
  
  Engineering, Quality Manufacturing,Production,Procurement, and Logistics, to streamline supply chain processes and enhance efficiency.

• Utilize SAP to create andmaintainaccuratematerial availability, track material movement, and analyze supply chain performance.

• Serve as the primary liaison with executive-level stakeholders, delivering concise, data-driveninsightsand updates on material planning and operational performance.

• Identify and resolve bottlenecks or disruptions in the supply chain, implementing proactive measures to mitigate risks.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecasting accuracy, reduce lead times, andoptimizeoverall supply chain operations with cross functional teams.

• Maintain and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for planning and material management processes.

Whatyou’llneed

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’sdegree preferred).

• Minimum of 8 years in Production Planning, Supply Chain, and Inventory Management.

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with ERP systems; SAP experiencestronglypreferred.

• Minimum of 3 yearsof peopleleadership experience.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with proven success in engaging and influencing executive-level stakeholders. This role will be customer-facing and requiresdemonstratedskill in interacting with customers/executive-level stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable recommendations.

• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive alignment toward shared objectives.

• Highly organized, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Strongproficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data visualization tools.

• Certification in supply chain or production management (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.

• Experience in a manufacturing or technology-driven industry.
