Entry Level Logistics Coordinator -Parts Manufacturer

Overview

An international automotive manufacturing company is currently searching for an experienced Entry Level Logistics Coordinator to join their company in the Delaware, Ohio area. The ideal candidate has at least 1–3 years of logistics and supply chain coordination in the automotive industry. This is a full-time, direct hire position.

• Update logistics information, purchase orders, and sales orders in the company system(s).
• Plan shipments and track deliveries from preparation to final destination.
• Communicate with customers regarding status updates and address any urgent questions, requests, or issues.
• Coordinate with the sales department and track inventory levels to ensure accurate delivery of products.
• Market analysis and assisting with product demand forecasting.
• Creation of activity and inventory reports for upper management.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Associate’s degree in a business-related field preferred, OR equivalent work experience.
• Previous 2–4 years’ work experience in logistics, customer service, purchasing, or related field preferred, ideally within an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Good computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication ability in a multicultural environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and good organizational skills.
• Physical ability to intermittently sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds, with lift assist for heavier objects; may require climbing stairs, handling parts/equipment, reaching with hands and arms, and bending.
• Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
