Accounting Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Accounting Manager with a strong foundation in manufacturing finance and a go-getter attitude. This role is ideal for an up-and-coming leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to mentor and supervise a growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor a team including AR/AP staff and a newly hired staff accountant.
- Foster a collaborative and accountable team culture.
Accounting Operations:
- Oversee all transactional accounting functions including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
- Manage traditional month-end close processes and ensure timely financial reporting.
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Systems & Process Management:
- Utilize SAP for financial operations and reporting.
- Drive process improvements and ensure compliance with internal controls.
Strategic Contributions:
- Support risk management and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
- Strong understanding of debits and credits; hands-on accounting experience.
Active CPA license or substantial manufacturing industry experience (required).
- Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory experience, with a proven ability to mentor and develop staff.
- Proficiency in SAP and experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, energetic personality.
