Overview

The Wealth Transformation Office Manager plays a leadership role in the business, leading the strategy team in developing strategic plans and objectives to improve business performance. This role collaborates with business leaders across the Business and oversees development of a strategic plan to sustain growth and profitability. It also oversees the Market Planning function, working with key stakeholders to develop comprehensive, market‑specific strategies that enable the organization to achieve desired results in each region.

The incumbent will drive trade‑off decisions, select a portfolio of strategic initiatives, re‑prioritize as needed, and mobilize large‑scale change requiring high coordination across M®T.

Primary Responsibilities
  • The strategy team will lead transformational change within the Business. The incumbent will challenge long‑held views, help leaders understand the changing market environment, and create a customer‑centric strategy across all touchpoints.
  • Develop business cases and initial use cases for foundational capabilities (e.g., analytics, multi‑channel servicing), evaluate partnerships with fintechs and other external companies, engage business teams, and transition ownership appropriately.
  • Lead the market planning group to develop comprehensive market‑specific strategies and investment plans, collaborating with stakeholders to assess markets and strategy efficacy.
  • Work with business leaders to evaluate options, drive trade‑off decisions, and develop an investment roadmap supporting the defined strategy and outcomes. Ensure alignment among stakeholders and oversee execution to achieve desired business outcomes.
Scope of Responsibilities
  • Develop frameworks and processes to facilitate strategy development, align on decisions, and make corrections as needed.
  • Provide expertise to leadership in resource allocation and desired outcomes, fostering collaboration between strategy and other business lines.
  • Oversee the process to evaluate trade‑offs and prioritize investments, championing the investment roadmap and cross‑functional change efforts.
  • Facilitate data‑driven decisions, monitor efficacy, and promote a culture of test & learn, overseeing financial, competitive, performance, and market analysis.
  • Lead strategy team in evaluating customer and competitive behavior across all channels, identifying trends to improve retention, engagement, and growth.
Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities

Manages a team of managers and professionals.

Education and Experience Required
  • Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 10 years of banking or finance experience, or a combined minimum of 14 years’ higher education and/or work experience.
  • Proven financial modeling skillset.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, leadership, and project‑management skills.
Education and Experience Preferred
  • Able to present to executive management.
  • Team player and collaborator with all levels of personnel.
  • Independent and collaborative work style.
  • MBA.
  • Proficiency in Tableau.
Physical Requirements

Periodic travel required.

Pay Range

The pay range for this position is $ – $ annually (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform the specific compensation.
