Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team responsible for vendor management and KB operations
- Set clear goals, priorities, and performance expectations aligned with organizational objectives
- Drive accountability, performance management, and career development within the team
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, ownership, and customer-centric thinking
- Ensure effective resource allocation and workload management across global priorities
- Lead and oversee relationships with a diverse global vendor network across multiple service lines
- Enforce vendor performance standards, focusing on improving responsiveness, service quality, and turnaround times
- Identify opportunities to consolidate vendors and leverage economies of scale
- Own vendor pricing strategy, including renegotiation of contracts to drive cost reductions and improve margins
- Implement and manage Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) frameworks, including vendor due diligence, risk assessments, and ongoing monitoring
- Track and report on vendor spend, savings initiatives, and ROI of vendor consolidation efforts
- Partner with internal stakeholders to align vendor capabilities with business needs
- Oversee the global KB, ensuring it is accurate, future proof, and compliant with evolving requirements
- Define governance structures, including content ownership, version control, and audit readiness
- Drive enhancements in the user experience of the knowledge base
- Partner with technology and operations teams to improve KB tools, workflows, and usability
- Identify and address SLA shortcomings, knowledge gaps or outdated documentation
- 5+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or global operations
- Prior people management experience, including leading and developing high-performing teams
- Demonstrated success in reducing vendor costs and negotiating contracts
- Experience owning or managing knowledge bases or content systems is strongly preferred
- Strong analytical skills with experience in pricing, financial modeling, or spend analysis
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive change in a global organization
