Production Mechanic

Overview

I’m partnering with an award-winning manufacturer that’s adding a strong Production Mechanic to their team — someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-speed production environments and takes pride in keeping operations running at peak performance.

This isn’t just another maintenance role. You’ll be the person production relies on to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues, drive preventive maintenance, and help improve uptime across automated consumer goods lines.

• High-impact role supporting critical production operations

• Hands-on work with automated equipment, conveyors, and facility systems
• A team that values technical expertise and problem solvers

• Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Performing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
• Partnering with production teams to improve efficiency
• Supporting safety, GMP, and SQF standards in a high-speed environment

• 3+ years of Maintenance experience in manufacturing
• Strong electrical & mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with high-speed production equipment (consumer goods or food manufacturing is a plus)
• Self-starter who can work independently and support team success

• Physical: Physical-Continuously standing or walking. Regular requirements to lift/handle/carry material or equipment of moderate weight.
• Visual/Sensory: This position requires a regular need to give moderate attention with one or two senses at a time.
• Environmental: Repetitive work in a manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
• Mental Stress: There is pronounced pressure from deadlines, production quotas, accuracy, or similar demands.
• Travel: May be minimal travel required as needed for training.
