Global Maintenance & Reliability Excellence Leader
Location:
Chemical Headquarters, Wilmington, DEWe are seeking a leader to develop, improve, and lead our Asset Care strategy across all manufacturing sites, provide strategic and operational leadership, and renew our Manufacturing Center of Excellence. The role will build technical capability, foster pro‑active maintenance culture, and embed reliability and maintainability into capital projects and turnarounds.
- Develop, continuously improve, and lead the Chemours Asset Care strategy and execution across all manufacturing sites.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements and benchmark against external perspectives.
- Standardize, deploy and govern maintenance and reliability programs globally, including preventive, predictive, and condition‑based practices.
- Establish, monitor and drive continuous improvement of asset care KPIs globally, working with business operations leaders.
- Lead global rollout of tools, systems and training, including SAP enhancements, reliability frameworks and turnaround best practices.
- Facilitate cross‑site collaboration and knowledge sharing, and develop global reliability networks.
- Govern change management and integration of work streams to remove initiative barriers.
- Coach and develop business and site‑level asset care leaders, fostering a culture of proactive maintenance and ownership.
- Partner with Capital & Operations teams on capital projects and major turnarounds, ensuring reliability and maintainability from design through execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or related);
Master’s degree preferred. - 15+ years of experience in maintenance, reliability or operations in a chemical manufacturing environment.
- 5+ years in a maintenance & reliability leadership role, preferably leading enterprise‑wide global or multi‑site programs.
- Proven experience implementing structured reliability frameworks and process safety / mechanical integrity programs.
- Excellent communication skills across all levels (shop floor to senior leaders) to build value and adoption of change.
- Technical knowledge of reliability, workflow management and lifecycle asset management.
- Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Formal training in TPM, WCM or Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher preferred).
- Experience with SAP PM and familiarity with digital reliability tools, predictive analytics and AI applications.
