Able to operate a shift unassisted and have the ability to rebuild equipment. A Water Operator Level B possesses a Water Operator license and 1 - 2 endorsements. Endorsements required for Millsboro include Distribution, Disinfection, Chemical Feed, and Filtration. Will have 1 - 3 years of acceptable operating experience. Operates mostly under supervision, 11 pm to 7. 30am Tuesday-Saturday.
MajorDuties & Responsibilities
- Operation of the water treatment system.
- Assists with compliance documentation and recordkeeping.
- Maintenance of water equipment and wells.
- Adheres to all safety requirements, including personal protective equipment (PPE), preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, lockout-tagout procedures, and process safety management related matters.
- Performs process control lab work.
Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
Active Water Operator license with 1 – 2 endorsements.
1 – 3 years of acceptable operating experience.
DE:
Recertify every 2 years with completion of 20 hours of approved training within that timeframe.
NC:
Recertify annually with completion of 6 hours of commission-approved continuing education.
