Chemical Operator

Ashland has an exciting opportunity for a Chemical Operator to join our Specialty Ingredients G.P Business at our Wilmington, DE. This position will report to Plant Manager.

• Maintain compliance with all health, safety, environmental procedures and guidelines
• Supervise shift operations, provide guidance to shift leads
• Oversee Planning and Logistics activities
• Manage product workflow from raw material receiving to product shipment
• Managing the workflow of employees, creating team schedules
• Perform all necessary SAP transactions

• High School Diploma or equivalent SAP experience
• Demonstrates good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Must possess a high level of mechanical aptitude
• Ability to clearly record observations in a written form
• Ability to follow and complete written directions
• Need to be able to work around strong magnets

• GMP or Chemical Manufacturing experience
• Fork lift experience
• General Computer experience
