Hazmat Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Location:

Wilmington, CA / On-Site

Shift: 1st Shift 6:00 A-2:30 PM, Monday-Friday

Rate of Pay: $20.00 - $25.00/hr

• Prepare and process shipping and receiving documentation
• Coordinate domestic and international hazmat shipments
• Maintain accurate inventory and transaction records
• Operate forklift and material-handling equipment safely
• Use UPS and Fed Ex software for shipment processing
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet daily workload requirements
• Support compliance with hazardous waste and dangerous goods regulations
• Maintain organized work areas and complete data entry tasks

• High School Diploma or GED
• US DOT/IATA 49
  
  CFR 172.704/DGR 1.5 certifications
• CA Title 22 Hazardous Waste Generator certification
• 2+ years clerical experience in shipping/receiving and 2+ years hazmat shipment experience
• Proficiency in UPS/Fed Ex systems, MS Office, forklift operation; strong communication, organization, math, reading, and workload-prioritization skills

• Knowledge of safety, quality, and SPC programs
• SAP data entry experience
• Familiarity with CFR 49 regulations
• Experience supporting continuous improvement activities

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location. Salary for this role is $22.00 - $25.00.
