Production Operator

Ashland Specialty Ingredients, GP is looking for a Chemical Operator to join our Specialty Ingredients G.P Business in Wilmington, DE. This position reports to the Plant Manager.

• Maintain compliance with all health, safety, environmental procedures and guidelines.
• Receive materials into the limited access warehouse (LAW) per the appropriate procedures.
• Prepare for production, raw material staging and weighing.
• Perform all manufacturing duties per the associated work instruction including set‑up, operation and cleaning of manufacturing equipment.
• Perform all necessary SAP transactions.
• Package final product & prepare shipments.
• Complete all GMP documentation.
• Perform general housekeeping in the GMP production area.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, holidays, and overtime as required.
• Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs on a regular basis.
• High level of mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to clearly record observations in written form.
• Ability to follow and complete written directions.
• Ability to work around strong magnets.

• Experience in GMP or Chemical Manufacturing.
• Forklift experience.
• General computer experience.
