Furniture Assembler

Taskrabbit is hiring Furniture Assemblers to support our fast-growing marketplace for home services. In this contract role, you'll assemble a variety of flat-pack and custom furniture in customers' homes, ensuring safe, accurate, and timely completion of each task. You'll use your own tools, follow digital work orders via the Taskrabbit platform, and communicate clearly with clients to confirm requirements and placement.

Responsibilities

• Assemble flat-pack and custom furniture safely and accurately in customers' homes
• Interpret written and diagram-based assembly instructions and digital work orders
• Use personal hand and power tools in accordance with safety best practices
• Communicate with clients to confirm requirements, placement, and satisfaction
• Track tasks and update status through the Taskrabbit app or platform tools
• Manage time effectively to complete multiple assemblies per day when scheduled
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and respect clients' property
• Report issues, damages, or missing parts through established Taskrabbit channels
