Job OverviewWith 39 years of history, the Citi/AAdvantage Co-Brand Credit Card portfolio is one of industry's largest and most prominent travel loyalty credit card programs. The American Airlines Co-Brand Product Management team collaborates with American Airlines to design and market a suite of consumer and small business credit cards that utilize the airline's loyalty program currency, travel assets, and marketing channels.
The team is responsible for defining the strategy for most aspects of the card program, including product value propositions, loyalty marketing, new account acquisition, P&L management, product development and customer experience.
The Customer Engagement team sits within the broader Product Management team and delivers a comprehensive engagement strategy for the Citi/AAdvantage portfolio's Consumer and Small Business products. It ensures the profitability of the portfolio by developing and implementing strategies that create an effective customer lifecycle journey, drive spend & ANR, improve Card members' engagement, and creates efficiencies across marketing assets and channels. - Customer Engagement AVP is responsible for:
- Reviewing, consolidating, and developing reporting for internal Citi/AAdvantage team and external partner use on key Existing Customer Marketing programs and initiatives
- Partnering closely with our co-brand partner and internal teams on the planning, development, and approval of Card member communications from Citi and American Airlines channels
- Assisting in the planning and execution of core Card member and team events, such as Admirals Club activations, Live Nation Sponsor ships, and internal events
- Managing an inventory of Card member assets to identify gaps and opportunities within the marketing curriculum
- Providing marketing and project management support for major portfolio initiatives
- Maintaining all proper controls & risk procedures and documentation
- 5-8 years relevant experience
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess marketing KPI reporting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
- Experience prioritizing workloads to drive results with a sense of urgency
- Experience building relationships and working with both internal & external partners
- Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a desire to learn and grow professionally
- A customer-focused mindset
- Bachelor's degree required
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
