Qualifications:
We would like a pastor who will joyfully join us in the ministry God is shaping at Windermere Presbyterian Church. We hope for an energetic and enthusiastic leader who brings strong preaching skills, a sense of humor, and the ability to teach biblical truth through relatable life lessons and meaningful storytelling. We value a pastor who is a good listener—approachable, outgoing, and easy to talk with—someone who offers wise counsel and compassionate guidance when needed.
Our prayer is for a pastor who will walk with us, challenge us, and lead us with humility, clarity, and hope as we continue becoming the church God intends us to be.
Our candidate should be formally trained and knowledgeable in Bible and theology. We expect our next pastor to be both a spiritual shepherd and an organizational leader. A pastor that is willing to honor healthy traditions while guiding necessary growth and change carefully. We seek a pastor who will help us connect with younger families and children, welcoming them into the life of our congregation and encouraging their participation.
We hope for a leader who can inspire, support, and nurture ministries that help these families grow in faith and find a spiritual home within our church.
A leader who inspires all ages of the congregation to continue to grow in their faith, become more involved, and joyfully follow Christ. Someone who encourages, uplifts, and models the comfort and goodness that come from walking with Jesus will be an excellent fit for our church family.

We are committed to spiritual growth, faithful discipleship, and living out biblical teaching in our daily lives so that our ministry reflects the gospel we proclaim.

Congregant participation and support is central to our identity. In addition to Bible studies offered, the Hands 4 Christ Quilting provides quilts to Coastal Horizons, a Prayer Shawl Ministry to anyone in need, Family Promise, Meals on Wheels, Vigilant Hope, Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard, and our partnerships with local, university, and international missions, we seek to share Christ’s love with our neighbors and the world.
