Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Wilmington, DE

Contract | Night Shift | Every other weekend as needed | On-call required

• Provide direct patient care to laboring patients and newborns throughout the labor and delivery process
• Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
• Assist with and support vaginal and cesarean deliveries in collaboration with the clinical team
• Administer medications and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and care provided
• Participate in on-call coverage as required per unit needs

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Delaware or compact licensure eligibility
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
• Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and on-call as required

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• AWHONN fetal monitoring certification or equivalent training
• Experience in a high-volume Labor and Delivery setting
