Job Overview
Nemours Children's Health is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Trainee to join our NICU team. The NNP trainee will function as a learner and in a supportive role in the neonatology setting, working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team and demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Mentored clinical practice experiences will occur in the neonatology setting. The trainee will gain experience within this specialty practice and progress from a learner status to a credentialed member of the interdisciplinary team within nine months of their start date.
Qualifications- Graduate of a neonatal nurse practitioner program.
- Must attain national certification as a neonatal nurse practitioner within 6 months of the start date.
- After certification, must obtain Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner licensure to practice in the state(s) where privileges are sought (e.g., DE CSR & DE DEA).
