Registered Nurse - Emergency Room - Nights

12 Hour Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM). Works full‑time, 36 hours per week, every third weekend and rotating holidays.

Saint Francis Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid‑Atlantic, is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join the team in our Emergency Department. The unit is a Level III Trauma, 27‑bed facility and the first and only geriatric‑certified emergency department in Delaware.

• Adheres to hospital nursing practice standards, demonstrates appropriate assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Assists the emergent patient and documents accordingly on the Emergency Room nursing tool.
• Identifies patient needs based on objective data and follows through with appropriate documentation.
• Implements appropriate nursing actions for each identified patient need.
• Makes decisions that reflect both knowledge of facts and sound judgment.
• Discusses with the patient and/or family significant other about planned patient care and expected outcomes and documents decision.
• Identifies and appropriately utilizes multidisciplinary approach to facilitate delivery of patient care.

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; BSN highly preferred.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Delaware.
• Previous ER and/or acute care experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required; must obtain PALS within six months of employment.
