Overview
Christiana Care’s Women’s Health at Greenville is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse II to deliver high-quality, safe, and evidence-based patient care. The role focuses on achieving optimal patient outcomes through independent practice and collaborative teamwork within the clinical setting. The Registered Nurse II will apply the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, contributing as a trusted and integral member of the healthcare team.
WorkSchedule
Monday through Fridays: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Duties / Responsibilities- Provide age‑appropriate, patient‑centered care for OB and GYN patients in both virtual and in‑person settings.
- Deliver services such as care management, in‑person nurse visits, and triage patients while collaborating closely with providers to support examinations, procedures, and efficient clinic operations.
- Serve as a key liaison among patients, providers, and staff, ensuring clear communication, coordinating workflow, and responding to urgent situations.
- Support staff development through training and mentorship, participate in quality and compliance initiatives, and contribute to process improvement efforts while maintaining a strong focus on safety, patient education, and high‑quality care delivery.
- Graduate of a state‑approved or National League of Nursing accredited School of Nursing.
- Registered Nurse licensure or eligibility for licensure in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, or New Jersey depending on location of employment.
- Two years’ experience as a Registered Nurse; physician office experience preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred;
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) considered with agreement to complete BSN within 3 years. - Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
