Summary:

Seeking an experienced OR Nurse to provide professional nursing care for patients undergoing outpatient surgical procedures. This position is responsible for patient assessment, perioperative nursing care, documentation, patient safety, and collaboration with surgeons, physicians, and surgical staff to ensure outstanding patient care throughout the surgical process.

As an OR Nurse, You Will:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients during outpatient surgical procedures.
• Perform patient assessments and assist in developing individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changing clinical situations.
• Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, anesthesia providers, and surgical staff.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and medical records.
• Ensure compliance with clinical policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Support patient safety initiatives and infection prevention protocols.
• Assist patients through various stages of care, including altered states of consciousness.
• Utilize sound clinical judgment in routine and emergency situations.
• Promote compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining confidentiality.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Support a positive and efficient surgical environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of Nursing experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience required.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Orthopedic experience is strongly preferred.
• Ambulatory Surgery Center experience preferred.

Education:

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN License required.
• BCLS Certification required.

Additional Information:

• Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem opportunities available.
• No Holidays.
• No Weekends.
• Minimum 40 hours per week for full-time employees.
• Orthopedic experience is strongly preferred.
