Lab Technician

Laboratory Technician position in Wilmington, DE. Key responsibilities include analytical testing using spectroscopy, microscopy, and chromatography techniques.

• Perform analytical testing using spectroscopy, microscopy, and chromatography techniques
• Operate laboratory instruments and equipment while following established methods and safety procedures
• Accurately record, process, and report data using notebooks, Excel, and LIMS systems
• Conduct quality checks, troubleshoot issues, and complete testing in a timely manner
• Assist with lab organization, equipment maintenance, and occasional lab moves

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field required
• Experience in materials characterization and laboratory testing (UV-vis, IR spectroscopy, microscopy, chromatography)
• Strong understanding of basic chemical principles and polymer material properties
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and LIMS systems
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely with laboratory equipment and gas cylinders
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in a team

• Pay:
  Up to $30.00/hour (based on experience)
• Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (flexible schedule possible)
• Weekly paycheck
• $30.00 per hour
