Discover Impactful Work:
Associate S cientist will conduct the cell culture lab works in both cell line development (CLD) and cell culture process development (Upstream) teams to support the development of stable manufacture cell lines that express the therapeutic antibodies.
Completes experiments for generating stable CHO cell lines expressing therapeutic antibodies, which include preparation DNA for transfection, conduct experiment in transfection, screening of transfected cells, as well as routine cell culture work.
Prepare media, buffers and solutions needed for laboratory work.
Write routine electronic laboratory notebook (ELN).
Present work summary to internal function teams.
Communicates clearly and collaborate actively with internal cross-functional teams to facilitate pipeline development of large molecules.
Other responsibilities as assigned
BS degree within chemical engineering, biochemical engineering biology, molecular biology, biochemistry or cell biology and 1+ years of experience in an appropriate subject area or working towards relevant qualification
Basic knowledge in aseptic cell culture is required, hands-on experience in cell culture process development is helpful, relevant experience is a plus.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Collaborative, organized, and pay attention to details.
