Staff Scientist In Vitro ADME
The Staff Scientist In Vitro ADME will take on key responsibilities in the scheduling, conduct, analysis, archiving, and reporting of weekly in vitro screening assays. These include metabolic intrinsic clearance, CYP
450 inhibition, and CYP
450 reaction phenotyping studies.
- Conduct weekly discovery stage screening high throughput in vitro ADME assays, such as intrinsic clearance, protein and tissue binding, CYP
450 inhibition, CYP
450 reaction phenotyping, and whole blood stability. - Perform routine laboratory tasks, including reagent preparation, equipment maintenance, and supply management.
- Analyze, record, and archive data under appropriate supervision; prepare summary documents and report data as needed.
- Experience with biochemical assays, drug metabolism, pharmacokinetics, DMPK, and ADME.
- Hands-on experience with in vitro ADME assays.
- High-throughput screening and LC/MS/MS experience preferred.
- Experience with Hamilton robotic liquid handlers is preferred.
- Ability to manage tasks independently while meeting timelines and quality expectations in a fast-paced work environment.
- Attention to detail, along with effective oral and written communication skills.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline with up to three years of experience or a Master's degree with industry experience preferred.
- Trainability in LC-MS for candidates possessing other core skills and a good fit.
This is a 100% on-site position at the Wilmington Insight facility, offering flexible daily hours, typically an 8-hour shift. The role requires cross-training on various assays, including P450 inhibition, whole blood stability, intrinsic clearance, and reaction phenotyping. The position is a minimum 12-month contract with a high likelihood of extension.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $80000.00/hr.
