Responsibilities

This is a full-time, on-site Executive Chef role at Sullivan’s Steakhouse, located in Wilmington, DE. The Executive Chef will oversee kitchen operations, including menu development, food preparation, staff supervision, and inventory management. Ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety are paramount. The Executive Chef will also be responsible for training and mentoring kitchen staff, maintaining cost controls, and collaborating with management to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Qualifications
  • Extensive culinary skills, including menu planning, recipe development, and exceptional food preparation and presentation abilities
  • Proficiency in kitchen management, including supervising staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Leadership capabilities to mentor, train, and lead a diverse culinary team
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in cost control, budgeting, and maximizing kitchen efficiency
  • Ability to adapt to customer preferences and culinary trends while maintaining brand consistency
  • Culinary degree or relevant certifications are preferred, with prior experience as an Executive Chef
  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences in a restaurant setting
